## What Is the Purpose of the Product Backlog?
The Product Backlog provides a transparent view of what is planned for the Product. It helps the Scrum Team plan, allows stakeholders to see progress and decisions, and serves as a thinking tool for the Product Owner. Other teams can also use it to identify dependencies.

> The Product Backlog is like the ticket rail in a restaurant kitchen.
Each ticket shows what’s planned, chefs rearrange them as priorities shift, and other staff can glance up to know what’s coming or when their part of the meal needs to sync.
Similarly, it provides a transparent, living view of what’s next, helping the Scrum Team plan, the Product Owner think, and other teams spot dependencies.
