## Who Should Participate in Experiments?
Ideally, real users should be involved. If direct access isn’t possible, find participants matching the product’s personas, including colleagues not involved in delivery.
>[!metaphor]
>Choosing experiment participants without considering your target users is like testing a new running shoe on people who never run. You’ll get feedback, but it won’t reflect the needs or realities of the people you’re actually designing for. </br>
That’s why real users—or close matches to your personas—should be in your experiments, ensuring insights are relevant and decisions are grounded in actual use.
